Garlic, Onion + Ginger Tea
This is not the making of Soup. THIS IS MY TEA: Onion, Garlic, and Ginger. #BossMoves
Garlic and Onion is an excellent immune booster. Specifically, garlic and onion strengthen the immune system and works as a natural antibiotic, anti-inflammatory and expectorate, meaning it loosen up mucous. Taking a cup of garlic-onion tea might just be “what the doctor ordered.” Garlic-onion tea is an old healing remedy known to almost cure anything. Although this talk sounds a tad bit anecdotal, it does provide amazing benefits for: weight loss, circulation, infections, cancer, hormone balancing, urinary tract, anemia, asthma and coughing. You don’t have to believe everything you read… just have some. See our personal recipe provided below.
Ingredients
4-6 Garlic Cloves
½ Red Onion
1 Ginger Nub
Note, a nub is just a small piece, like the size of your finger. You can add a little more ginger if you like. You might even be interested in adding a little honey after the tea is made.
INSTRUCTIONS:
Place the chopped ingredients in a small pot and add about 16-17oz of water.
Let the tea come to a boil, then let it rest for about 20-30 minutes.
Remember we used fresh ginger. It is good to let it steep a little longer.
After the steep, strain the tea and add honey.
Usually 1 to 2 teaspoons of honey is good.
This pot makes 2 cups.
Share the pot or drink one cup now and another later.
This tea is good for you! #TURNUP
